A 3-bed, 3-bathroom flat in a St John’s Wood mansion block was transformed into a flowing, luxurious, contemporary home.
We demolished walls and stripped everything out to leave a huge open shell. We added partitions to create the new layout which now includes: a corridor running the length of the flat; an open-plan kitchen/dining area; a lounge area; a large master bedroom and bathroom with a dressing area in between; a guest bedroom/bike room and a guest bathroom.
The clever design allows great flexibility, with different areas able to be open or closed off. Crittal steel doors divide the main flat from the entrance lobby and a wide set of Crittal doors lead into the dining/kitchen area. Sliding ‘pocket’ doors can divide the master bedroom area from the rest of the flat, and can also close off both the master bedroom and master bathroom.
